Rainbows and full moons
Does the world talk to you too? In the breeze of the tall tree limbs blowing, butterflies merrily crossing your path, and the quiet leisure of a Sunday afternoon. Yes. The world talks to me... and I listen. It's like the rainbow that greeted me last week as I pulled into work. She peeked out from behind the grey sky and met me on my path. Thank you Lord, I called out to her. Two day later, another rainbow rode home alongside my path. She called me to join in and I seemed to follow into the light before realizing that it really wasn't quite my time and how in the world could I ride off into the rainbow. Still, the afternoon ride was just that much better. Now today, the full moon greeted me and rode overhead making sure my journey would put me home safe with my loved ones, and indeed, I made it home safe. I often hear things and acknowledge them one and all. I often find that simple pleasure speak volumes into my life and spirit. My spirit soars when I think that God sent me something so special and unique. He does that special thing for each of us. As children of Christ, we are all sent wonderful gifts throughout the day. I think of it like this, if you could give one and only one priceless gift to your firstborn to share with your offspring, what would it be and why? So, it's understandable that God could think so much more of me to send me a sky size view of a rainbow.
